Philanthropitch is a social impact fast pitch competition which provides capital and builds awareness for local nonprofits tackling some of your communities’ toughest problems. Since 2013, we’ve donated over $1.5 millions dollars to 102 nonprofits in Austin, Columbus, Philadelphia and San Antonio.

Thanks for your interest in applying for Philanthropitch San Antonio 2021. This opportunity is open to 501c3 organizations currently serving or planning to expand to the San Antonio area. We're looking forward to learning more about your work! The application includes 7 questions that provide our review committee more information about your nonprofit, mission, and approach to creating a sustainable and scalable impact.


Applications will be assessed based on the following criteria:




  • Have basic eligibility requirements been met?


  • At what level has the applicant been able to collect project/program outcomes?


  • Is this project/program financially sustainable?


  • Is this project/program ready to scale?


  • Does your project/program serve the city in which you are pitching?

June 17, 2021: Applications close automatically at 12am midnight and application review begins

July 7, 2021: Philanthropitch semi-finalists will be announced to the public.

July 27, 2021: Philanthropitch finalists will be announced to the public.

July 30, 2021 12-1pm CST: Welcome to Philanthropitch Webinar for Finalists: A quick informative session on what to expect during your time as a Finalist and our tips for success!

August 6, 2021, 9am - 3pm: Finalist Pitch Workshop: Finalists will attend an all-day virtual workshop focused on articulating the financial model behind the program being pitched and crafting the 3-minute pitch. You are welcome and encouraged to invite additional staff to this workshop that may have a better grasp of your financials/programming should you need to.


Week of August 15, 2021: Pitch Practice #1: Each finalist will sign up for a one-hour time slot to meet virtually with the Notley team to review a first draft of their pitch. 


Week of August 22, 2021: Pitch Practice #2: Each finalist will sign up for a one-hour time slot to meet virtually with the Notley team to review final drafts of their pitch and slides.

September 9, 2021: Pitch Recording Day for online voting


October 12, 2021 12pm-9pm CST: Philanthropitch Event Day!: The in person show will begin at 6pm, but please plan to be available starting at 12pm for rehearsals.

August 16, 2021: All semi-finalists will be notified of their status. Philanthropitch finalists will be announced to the public.

August 23, 2021  12pm-1:00 EST: Welcome to Philanthropitch Webinar for Finalists: A quick informative session on what to expect during your time as a Finalist and our tips for success!

September 24, 2021 12-1pm CST - Marketing 101 with the Notley Team: How to get the word out to your donors and supporters

September 28, 2021: Final Pitch Presentation Slides Due to Notley team

September 30, 2021: Pitches are filmed for the hybrid event! Pitches will go online a few days before the live event for people who can not join us in person!


October 26, 2021: Philanthropitch LIVE Event Day!: The show will begin at 6pm, but please plan to be available starting at 12pm for rehearsals.
